Fun Dog Show held in aid of Pet Ambulance
On Sunday 3rd February Manchester Dogs Home held a Fun Dog Show at mypetstop® Manchester to raise money towards a Pet Ambulance. The day was well attended and the various classes very popular. Classes included best trick, best veteran, best fancy dress, prettiest bitch and most handsome dog. The fun dog show was judged by Sherrie Hewson (Currently presenting on daytime television programme Loose Women), gladiator Warrior and Dorothy Grayson-Wood who runs the Ringcraft class at mypetstop® Manchester on a Monday night.
The following day mypetstop® treated Rhubarb, a 9 month old cross currently at Manchester Dog’s Home, to a hydrotherapy session. Rhubarb, suffers from Wobblers, a condition affecting his legs. Sadly Rhubarb’s previous owners felt unable to look after him due to his condition. Manchester Dog’s Home are keen to ensure that Rhubarb has a good quality of life. Rhubarb did exceptionally well for his first time in the pool. The buoyancy of the water took all the weight off his bones allowing him to exercise. Everyone at mypetstop® that met Rhubarb fell in love with him.
