Kerry started her City & Guilds training at Huddersfield college in 2002. During her two years there she spent time at her tutors salon gaining valuable hands-on experience. She came to work as a stylist in the grooming salon at mypetstop in 2004. In 2005 she entered the Inter-College Grooming Competition and won 'Best City & Guilds Work' with her cocker spaniel 'Sasha'. In 2006 she entered 'Groomer of the Year' and won 3rd place in both the Gundog and Poodle category.

Kerry's daughter Chelsea (13 years) also has a passion for grooming, qualifying for 'Young Kennel Club Groomer of the Year' at Crufts with her cocker spaniel Brodie.
