Deciding where to leave your dog when you go on holiday
When you go away on holiday you want to know that your dogs are being well looked after and that they are enjoying their holiday too. If it is the first time you’ve left your dog in kennels it is important to visit the kennel before hand so you can have a look round, meet the staff and ask any questions you might have. At all mypetstop pet resort & care centres we are happy to show people round and even offer a familiarisation day* – a great way for your dog to get to know the staff. Prior to leaving your dog in boarding it is essential that their vaccinations are up to date as all reputable boarding kennels will insist upon dogs being vaccinated.
It is important to find out what is included during your dog’s stay. Do they get taken out for a walk? If you have an active dog or one that loves lots of cuddles, can you add on extras such as additional walks or TLC sessions? At mypetstop we have a wide range of boarding extras to ensure that your dog has the perfect holiday.
When you bring your dog in for boarding, the kennels should keep a record of your contact details, details about your dog including their likes and dislikes, any special dietary requirements, any medical conditions and your vets contact details. mypetstop has an extensive check in procedure to ensure we know everything about your dog so you can be assured that your dog is receiving the best possible care and attention during their holiday.
